Exotissimo Cambodia sponsors PSE's Annual Charity Party
Exotissimo Cambodia sponsors Annual Charity Party of Pour un Sourire d’Enfants (PSE) in Phnom Penh. Pour un Sourire d’Enfants is an NGO in Cambodia working to support disadvantaged children and youth. Currently PSE supports more than 6,000 children through various activities focusing on basic education and vocational training alike. The NGO runs 8 schools in Cambodia, including a Hotel and Restaurant School that educates students in service skills, food and beverage management and other hospitality related subjects, skills that can be widely used in Cambodia.
Last year 537 new students entered their vocational training program resulting in a total of 1,544 students at PSE’s Vocational Training Centre for the academic year 2010-2011. This April 1st, PSE is holding its annual charity party to celebrate its achievements of the last year, and to promote its initiatives to the public. The event is being supported by Exo Cambodia with a donation of 2,500 USD.
The charity party takes place at the PSE Center in Phnom Penh and features performances of Cambodian pop singers Ms. Meas Soksophea and Mr. Karona Pich & Mr. Sokun Therayu. Traditional Khmer dances, authentic Khmer food and a choice of kid’s games will make this an entertaining and joyful event for everyone.
If you are in Phnom Penh drop by and support PSE’s efforts. Tickets can be purchased at PSE center directly. If you cannot make it to the Charity Party but are interested in learning more about PSE’s work, you can visit the project on Exotissimo’s Fascinating Phnom Penh tour or make a donation by clicking here.
