So, what to expect from Exo Foundation blog? We want to use this space to keep you updated on the progress of the charity projects we support and to inform you about everything that’s going on charity wise in the region we love. Providing you with all kinds of interesting and useful information we’d like to invite you to take part in the discussion and share with us whatever ideas you have.

 Let us start with a short introduction to Exo Foundation. Who are we – and why are we here?

Exo Foundation is a charity foundation based in Thailand. We are a supplementary branch of Exotissimo Travel to coordinate all Responsible Tourism efforts established to take our care for the natural and cultural environs to a next level. By setting up the foundation we are now entitled to generate support for charitable projects in the region. We support a wide variety of charitable projects ranging from small scale grass roots projects to local initiatives of international organizations. Topics range from health care issues to environmental conservation and to educational support.

 Some of the projects have been supported by Exotissimo previously – be it through visits during the tours to create awareness and income or through customer donations. In fact, ever since the establishment of Exotissimo Travel in 1993 have we been involved with charitable activities –  driven by the belief that this is what travel is all about.

Sure, travel is about memorable times, relaxation and enjoyment but there is no greater reward and personal satisfaction than knowing that you have done something to help the people and environment of your dream travel destination. Now, looking back on such a long standing history of responsible travel and community engagement it was only natural to take the next step – to set up a charity foundation.

 Drawing on Exotissimo’s extensive network of partners and travelers we are able to offer charity projects a broad exposure to potential donors, thereby facilitating the links between “demand” and “offer” for support. 

We provide different kinds of support to charities: promotional as well as financial. Donations collected through the Exo Foundation Fund go without losses for administrative costs to local projects. Help us make the world a better place!

There are various ways in which you can support us in what we‘re doing. Apart from making donations, which are of course always more than welcome, you could help fundraising  and spreading  the word about Exo Foundation – let your friends, family and colleagues know about us and our work.
