PSE Charity Party – A Success
We’re happy to share some good news with you. We just received very positive feedback on the charity party of Pour un Sourire d’Enfants (PSE) that Exo Foundation has co-sponsored. We want to thank all supporters and donors for making this party such a big success.
On April 1st and 2nd 2011 Pour un Sourire d’Enfants held its annual charity party to celebrate their achievements and raise funds for the ongoing support of their educational programs. PSE is a Cambodian NGO that supports more than 6,000 disadvantaged children and youth by offering them basic education and vocational training.
Over the course of the two-days festivities more than 6,000 guests attended and about 800 kids joined the activities on the playground. Over 7,700 tickets were sold for the party and the event raised more than 41,000$ in donations, not including in-kind donations. This is a huge success as this means an increase in raised funds of one third compared to the previous year.
Once again we want to say thank you to everyone involved for making this party a fun and entertaining event. The money raised will be used to support the eight schools that PSE is currently running, amongst them a Hotel and Restaurant School that educates students in service skills, food and beverage management and other hospitality related subjects.
