The earthquake that struck on 28 March was felt across much of Southeast Asia, prompting headlines around the region. While neighbouring countries have largely returned to normal, communities in Myanmar are facing immense loss and destruction, with the true scale of the disaster still unfolding.
Entire villages have been destroyed. Homes, schools, hospitals and infrastructure have collapsed. Thousands of families have lost everything, many are injured, missing or displaced. We don’t yet know the full extent of the damage, and the road to recovery will be long. What we do know is that people need help now.
To provide immediate and meaningful assistance, we are launching a call for donations to support local relief and recovery efforts. Thanks to our long-standing presence in the country, we will act quickly and efficiently through trusted local partners.
Our team on the ground is actively assessing the most urgent needs on the ground and will oversee the distribution of funds to ensure transparency, effectiveness and direct impact.
How you can help ?
Every donation, no matter the size, can help. Funds will support our local partners in delivering emergency supplies, food, clean water, temporary shelter and longer-term rebuilding initiatives for affected communities.
