Climate Resilience Fund

Immediate Action Supporting Communities Hit by Natural Disasters

EXO Foundation has launched a fundraising campaign to support victims of extreme natural disasters.

EXO Cares - Progress (1)

Supporting communities across Asia facing climate impacts

In recent years, local communities across Asia have been increasingly affected by floods, typhoons, earthquakes, and other climate-related events. In 2025 alone, communities in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, and other destinations have faced significant challenges and loss.

To respond quickly and fairly, the EXO Foundation is launching the Climate Resilience Fund. This dedicated fund allows us to provide emergency relief, support recovery and rebuilding, and invest in prevention and preparedness programs across all EXO countries.

Some of Our Partner Organizations

Myanmar

Children of the Mekong

Copy of 2024 Annual EXO Foundation Report

We partnered with Children of the Mekong, due to their extensive and well-established network in the region. In the Taunggyi region of Myanmar, approximately 200 families suffered the loss of their entire rice crops due to the typhoon, leading to severe food shortages. Our support provided essential food supplies, medicines, and blankets to help these families cope with the crisis.

Myanmar

Sonne International

In 2025, we supported SONNE-International’s work in Myanmar through both education and emergency relief. We covered one teacher’s salary for a year to provide consistent tuition support for children living in the slums of Yangon. In response to the earthquake, we also supported SONNE-International’s emergency relief efforts by providing essential supplies, including tents, along with a USD 5,000 donation to help communities meet urgent needs during a critical time.

The remote, women-led handicraft village of Nam Dee, home to the Lantern ethnic group in northern Laos, has been severely impacted by Typhoon Yagi. These women, who are the heart of their community, needed some support to rebuild. TAEC is working directly with Nam Dee to provide assistance on the ground, ensuring aid reaches those who need it most. We donated them to provide blankets and 2610 kilograms of rice.

Vietnam

Blue Dragon

A Vietnamese organization dedicated to combating human trafficking supported communities in Northern Vietnam affected by the typhoon. Recognizing the increased risk of trafficking after natural disasters, we took a two-pronged approach: a direct donation to Blue Dragon for immediate relief, and, in partnership with Schneider Electric, the provision of 100 solar-powered Mobiya lamps to 100 families, helping restore access to light and a sense of normalcy.

Thailand

In partnership with The Freedom Story, a Chiang Rai-based organization combating human trafficking, we donated funds to purchase essential supplies to aid in their emergency response efforts to Typhoon Yagi.
